The TASER®C2 is shipped in an inactive state. The microprocessor that controls the entire TASER system is locked down and cannot function until after an activation code is entered.

The owner of the device is required to complete an identity verification and product registration to obtain the activation code.

You need a United States Drivers License or State ID, a Full Social Security Number and address to complete this process.

This only takes a couple of minutes, full instructions come with the TASER®C2.
