Limitless women are beat-up and killed by their husbands and boyfriends on a daily basis. And I do mean literally ever day! Now, you may stop to ask yourself how this could be. It's simply really; no one is assisting these women in their frantic time of need. While it sounds utterly appalling when you say it out loud, it's true nonetheless. The same goes for countless children.

With the online dating becoming more popular, you need to be prepared for the dates that you may arrange by using common sense and by doing a little research to cut down on your chances of meeting one of the online predators that get in to the mix from time to time. Having met my spouse on line, I must say there were a few weird ones before I found the one for me. Dating on line can be fun and allow you to come in contact with some interesting people and possibly you will be lucky enough to find your soul mate.

Burglars, rapists and attackers should beware. Women are finding new ways to protect themselves. One weapon that is becoming popular among self defense products is the cell phone stun gun. This small cell phone want to be is worn clipped to your purse or belt. To the unknowing eye, you are defenseless. However, you have a stun weapon that can be pressed into the attacker and zap them. Criminals prey on the ones they think are defenseless, so you need to have a plan of escape.

• 0 commentsIn this day and age it is hard to watch the news without hearing reports of home invasions, car-jacking, violent robberies and a host of other crimes. The question is what can we do to protect our loved ones and our valuables? Obviously protecting our loved ones is the most important. Many times robbers and burglars are looking for homes that are unoccupied. True they want to take things of value but they do not necessarily want the added charges or complications of people in the home that may become hostages or worse!
That being said the typical home invasion suspect is looking for a quick expensive fix so that they can get in and out in a hurry.

It used to be that people thought of the big city as the place where crime takes place, however, we are seeing more and more that the suburbs and even small towns are not exempt from crimes.

When we turn on the news, we are hearing more and more about individuals being attacked, robbed, and worse. People want to protect themselves, but they do not necessarily want to resort to having to use a gun. What, then, are the alternatives to using a gun for protection?
According to an article in the Hartford Courant on April 4th, there are numerous ways to protect yourself without using lethal force.

It is almost noon on a bright sunny day. You can't find a parking space very close to the building, but you are willing to walk the half block to get to the appointment with your client.
This happened to one of our clients.
