1. Was George Zimmerman hurt?
Mr. Zimmerman’s attorney, Craig Sonner, has said his client’s nose was broken in a fight with Trayvon. The police report of the incident, written up in the squad car that arrived in response, says Zimmerman was bleeding from the back of his head.
2. Is 'DeeDee' telling the truth about the phone call?
Trayvon’s 16-year-old girlfriend has been identified in the media only as “DeeDee.” She has said she was on the phone with Trayvon in his final moments. He said he was being followed and was trying to get away, in her account.
3. What was the condition of Trayvon Martin's body?
While much attention has focused on whether George Zimmerman showed evidence of a fight, less has been said about the condition of Travyon Martin’s body. Forensic evidence should be able to establish whether he participated in a hand-to-hand fight with Mr. Zimmerman. At the least he would have sustained bruising to his own hands and body consistent with an attack, if Zimmerman’s account is true.
4. What if George Zimmerman had non-lethal weapon instead of a hand gun?
Non-lethal self defense weapons can be used to help you, if you ever find yourself in such situations like George Zimmerman. These personal defense products are light enough to carry around with you, and can be concealed easily. A self defense product such as pepper spray can be used to momentarily pain your attacker while giving you enough time to escape. These self defense weapons do not permanently harm your attacker, they are only meant to buy you enough time to get out of the situation. Other examples of such weapons are like stun guns, stun pens, and stun batons.

There is no doubt in anybody's mind that police officers have one of the most difficult jobs you can imagine. Every time they are faced with apprehending a suspect a whole range of options looms in front of them. That range of options is known as the 'continuum of force.'
The idea behind it is you use the least amount of force necessary to gain compliance to a lawful order. Down at the bottom of the continuum are verbal commands. At the top of the continuum is deadly force.
In a way those same options are available to civilians for their own self-defense.
Batons are somewhere in the middle. Their history goes back to the mid-1800's when London police carried truncheons about a foot long. They were called Billy clubs or nightsticks. Back then they were made of wood. Today they may be made of wood, plastic or metal. They can be used to hit, block or bludgeon an assailant.
A skilled user can apply an arm lock. They can also be used to smash windows or doors.
For police if a lawful verbal order isn't obeyed physical force may be applied. The next level of force could be a baton. In some jurisdictions the baton could be considered excessive force.
Today most batons are made out of stainless steel with rubber handles. The telescopic variety comes in four lengths of 15, 17, 21 and 26 inches. At the flip of a wrist the baton extends to its maximum length for use.
In some jurisdictions batons are illegal. It's easy to see that they can be and often have been used as an offensive weapon. So check with your law enforcement agency before you buy one.
Many people have a hard time with deadly force. That's why the proliferation of non lethal self-defense products. Telescopic Steel Batons are one of the more popular inexpensive, effective self-defense items.
If you have ever accidentally hit a bone on a solid object you know what kind of excruciating pain it can be. That is a kind of pain associated with the telescopic steel baton.
Used appropriately in self-defense, the steel baton can disable an assailant in one or two strikes. Even a petite woman yielding a baton is a dangerous force to be reckoned with.
So next time you're looking for a self-defense product, consider getting a telescopic steel baton. They aren't for everyone or every circumstance but they certainly have their place in the world of self-defense.

One of the most effective self-defense products in the world
is the stun gun. Women in particular love it for self-defense because they are
so effective and they are easy to conceal and use. Some even come disguised as
cell phones.
There's probably a very good reason why most police officers
carry some kind of stun device on their utility belt. Many law enforcement
officers carry the very expensive TASER stun device but there are plenty of
cheap stun guns on the market. When you go to look for stun guns for sale cost
is certainly a consideration but there are other factors to consider.
Stun devices are completely legal and provide an effective
nonlethal alternative to deadly force. They are excellent tools for personal
safety and personal security. Stun weapons have two prongs on one end that
conduct the electrical charge. Touching an attacker with the prongs and
pressing a button to turn the device on will create electricity that goes from
the prongs through his garments into his body. This causes the attacker to lock
up and collapse. It also interrupts his
tiny nerve stimulus that controls muscle movement. This can make him
disoriented and cause him to lose balance.
Here are four of the cheapest
Stun Guns For
Sale.And don't be mistaken just because you've chosen a
cheap one doesn't mean you have to give up anything in terms of power when it
comes to your self-defense in your personal security and personal safety.
1. The King Cobra-is little bit bigger than most guns but it
packs a 5.8 million volts wallop that can put any assailant on his rear end.
2. The Runt stunner-is 4.5 million volts in a package is 3
1/2 inches long and less than an inch thick. There is a rechargeable model that
will save you money on buying batteries.
3. The executive stun pen-is one of the least expensive stun
weapons you can get at $24.97. It is 1.2 million volts and is 1 inch in
diameter and 5 inches long.
4. And the mini Enforcer-at 3.5 million volts is one of the
most powerful stun devices for the money. It is less than $23.
So do your homework. Don't be fooled into buying a more
expensive stun gun when you can get a powerful stun gun for a song.
Stun tools have restrictions in some states so check with
your local sheriff's department first before you get one.

One of the most underrated self defense products is the Self-Defense Baton. They range in size from 15 to 26 inches when fully extended. These steel batons are not toys. At the flick of your wrist they extend to their full-length from a minimum of 6 inches.
They all come with a free nylon holster for easy carrying.
The smaller models can easily fit inside a purse. It is also one who least expensive self defense products you can get.
They are one of the most intimidating, sturdy self defense weapons you can use. Assailants are usually familiar with batons because police officers carry them. A strike across a femur bone or arm can easily damage the bone and perhaps even break it.
A well-placed strike across the kneecap can cripple an assailant for the rest of his life.
So if you're looking for an easy to use, inexpensive, sturdy and effective self defense product for your self defense batons may be the choice for you.

Have you ever hit your shin on a bedpost? It produces temporary and excruciating pain. You can go out and try it just to verify what I said or take my word for it. That is a kind of pain that is produced by Telescopic Steel Batons.
They are serious self defense products.
There are four sizes 15, 17, 21, and 26 inches and depending on the length they close to as little as 6" to nearly 10 inches and fit into a free nylon holster that you can wear on your hip.
These serious self defense products telescope out to as much 26 inches depending on the model at the flick of your wrist. One strike across an arm neck or a leg will make the assailant think twice about pursuing you any further.
Just think about this for a minute. There has
to be a good reason why every police officer in the world carries a baton.

A massive misconception about defense spray is that the higher the percentage, the hotter and greater it works. In most cases this could not be further from the truth. Most of the best, fastest incapacitating sprays within the world are from 2%-10%. The lighter the fluid, the faster is penetrates the membranes. The percentage has nothing to do with the actual SHU or "hot" inside the spray. Also, thicker sprays can inflame the skin area far more and last longer with this unnecessary inflammation. A great spray will put the attacker down and out allowing you to escape or take control of the situation.
Since it's an inflammatory, as opposed to an irritant, OC is successful against all those that feel no pain for example psychotics, drunks and drug abusers. OC has proven itself to be the ABSOLUTE Finest DETERRENT offered for attacking dogs and wild animal control. One more significant advantage of OC is that it's not volatile and won't emit a great deal of fumes like tear gases.
The term OC (oleoresin capsicum) can be a horticultural term which refers to chili peppers. There are several diverse kinds of chili peppers ranging from jalapenos, chiletpin, and cayenne to habaneros. They all have one factor in prevalent. They all contain a substance that's quite potent -- an alkaloid referred to as capsaicin (cap-say-a-sin). Just a single drop of tasteless and odorless capsaicin in 100,000 drops of water along with the heat might be noticeable. The truth is, capsaicin might be detected by humans at one component per ten million!
Capsaicinoids are produced by a gland inside the pepper's placenta, which is the top partition just below the stem. This is also where the seeds are attached. The placenta is about 16 times stronger than any other component of the plant, any OC spray worth its salt will use its active ingredient made from this component.
Back in 1912, a pharmacologist named Wilbur Scoville came up with the standard for measuring the power of capsaicin. Referred to as the Scoville Organoleptic Test, it was required to calculate the temperature of peppers utilized in a lot of pharmaceutical goods of the time (for example "Heet" which was employed for the relief of sore muscles, arthritis pain and muscular sprains). Scoville measured the ground pepper into a mixture of sugar, water and alcohol. Then, a panel of five tasters sipped the mixture and gave it a grade; it took a majority of 3 to assign a value.
Right now, the value is established by way of high technology, a computerized approach known as high-performance liquid chromatography. The pepper scale ranges from zero Scoville unit for a bell pepper to 5,000 or so for a jalapeno to a whopping 200,000 - 300,000 for a habanero! Pure capsaicin is 15,000,000. The oleoresin capsicum employed in a superior pepper spray formula is derived from the hottest peppers and further processed and refined until the heat rating is 5,300,000 (5.3 million!).
Pepper spray is utilized everywhere right now from personal use to make use of by law enforcement officials. This spray even so isn't allowed on an airplane? You can not carry any pepper spray or stun gun on an airplane or in carry-on luggage. It is possible to, even so take a can (up to 4 oz.) inside your checked baggage.

With the online dating becoming more popular, you need to be prepared for the dates that you may arrange by using common sense and by doing a little research to cut down on your chances of meeting one of the online predators that get in to the mix from time to time. Having met my spouse on line, I must say there were a few weird ones before I found the one for me. Dating on line can be fun and allow you to come in contact with some interesting people and possibly you will be lucky enough to find your soul mate. However, proceed with caution.
People that are pretending to be interesting in your dating profile can sometimes turn out to be nothing like they have described themselves. Red flags should go up when anyone that wants to meet immediately. Take a few weeks of online chat and phone calls before considering meeting another person, go with your feelings, if it does not feel comfortable do not meet them in person until you are ready. Be cautious of links people send to you during on line chats and email. Do not click on a link without first knowing what it is and never download any programs on your computer. These programs are often some type of spy ware programs that can steal information from your computer like your passwords and credit card numbers.
These online predators can put a real strain for online dating but if you are smart, you should not have any problems. You need to protect yourself by not giving out too much personal information and by staying out of financial matters.
When you do decide to meet someone, keep your personal information with you at all times, your credit card information or other personal information can be used to steal your identity. This will not show up sometimes for weeks after your meeting, but when the ball starts rolling it will take months and sometimes years to undo the damage.
Lastly, if things do start to get scary or you start to feel uncomfortable, try to excuse yourself from the situation and get out of there. If this opportunity does not come up for you, you need to have a backup plan in place. I suggest that you have a personal alarm, a pepper spray on your key chain and a small stun gun in your purse or pocket and know how to use these self defense tools, they could make the difference in you ability to escape form a very dangerous situation.

Are you attracted to a device that only costs hardly any money, but may mean the difference in your life or death in an attack?
A number of women today are purchasing self defense products to have with them in an unfortunate time of an assault. Make no mistake; you are not imagining that the rate of crime is on the rise. A non-lethal self defense weapon is a smarter and safer choice than carrying a loaded gun.
Not only can a non-lethal self defense product save your life, but it takes away the burden of using a gun and taking another persons life.
In the long run, personal self defense weapons are safe if used correctly. Of course there has been controversy about Tasers and stun guns being used to torture people with repeated exposure to its electrical charge. But we are not talking about those instances.
We are focusing on what they can do for you as targeted woman. Women are more at risk. Statistics show that most violence is done by men, and most have a preference of a female target. Because, most but not all females are the physically weaker sex, and these men that are hoping to do violence, commonly want a weaker adversary. Someone they can control and dominate. With a non-lethal weapon you can reduce the risk that you will be viciously beaten or killed when walking to your car at night, or taking an evening walk in your once safe neighborhood.
Non-lethal weapons are perfect for women and some are designed with the on the go women in mind. There are pepper sprays and stun guns that resemble a tube of lipstick, stun guns that are designed to look like a cell phone and some are even gender color specific too. Most are very discreet and are available to look like simple items that you may carry in your purse or pocket.
When these products are used properly against an attacker, they very well could save a womans life.
It is recommended that after purchasing a self defense weapon that if at all possible, you take a short course on how to use it. Some police stations offer safety courses along with their self-defense courses. If these courses are not available in your area, at bare minimum practice with your device of choice and become familiar with your device and what it can do for you in case of an attack.

Live in a bad neighborhood? Always leaving work after dark? Feeling safe in your own home, at the office, or walking to your car on a dark night are very important. Sometimes pepper-spray is not enough to ward off attackers and something more durable is what you are looking for. In the market of nonlethal self defense products, the Stun Gun Flashlight can be a wise and life saving choice.
Stunguns always pack a punch but with the Guard Dog brand you are getting two features in one. The clever look of the device disguises the fact that it is a stun weapon, because it looks like a typical flashlight. The 3 super bright light emitting diodes (L.E.D.) are several times brighter than your average flashlight bulb making poor visibility not an issue additionally it can be used to hinder a would be attackers vision.
The loud crackle of this super charged stunner flashlight can set off a "do not mess with me sucker" message to deter attackers, burglars, and other criminals from proceeding with their dastardly plans, and should keep away humans and animals alike. But if this is not enough, when the stun function is activated this will surely do the trick. With an output voltage of 2.9 million volts, makes for an extremely intimidating weapon.
Through testing we have found that the Guard Dog brand stun flashlight device is very easy to use and will fit into the smallest of hands. Operation is cinch with one switch that operates the flashlight. The feature that I found most accommodating was the large red activation button above the flashlight button to activate the stun feature. For safety, a switch was placed on the bottom of the unit which controls power to the stun gun.
The Guard Dog Stun Gun Flashlight is also rechargeable; it is recommended that the internal batteries be charged for 8 to 10 hours prior to first use. The flashlight plugs into any 110 volt wall socket with the included charging plug making the recharge process a snap. It holds a charge for up to three months but it is recommended that if unused you should recharge it every two months.
The expert construction of the Guard Dog Stun Zapper Flashlight and the heavy duty materials make this a product that should last for many years under normal use. The dimensions are as follows: the head is 1.5 inches in diameter, the body is 1 inch in diameter, and the whole unit is only 7 inches long. Additional accessories included are a wrist strap and heavy duty nylon holster with belt loop.

Burglars, rapists and attackers should beware. Women are finding new ways to protect themselves. One weapon that is becoming popular among self defense products is the cell phone stun gun. This small cell phone want to be is worn clipped to your purse or belt. To the unknowing eye, you are defenseless. However, you have a stun weapon that can be pressed into the attacker and zap them. Criminals prey on the ones they think are defenseless, so you need to have a plan of escape.
Naturally, the stun phone is not lethal and will not cause any permanent harm. The purpose is not to incapacitate the person. It is to shock them just long enough for you to get away. Like with any stun device, the longer you hold the trigger, the more of a shock the person will get.
Many people fear for their own safety with a stun device. The cell phone stun gun is completely safe to the person using it. It has a safety switch that when activated, will not hurt anyone. Additionally, you have to push the trigger to make it go off.
Most of the stun devices available today are between 800,000 and 3 million volts. While this is enough to drop anyone down temporarily, do not think they are down for the count. The purpose of this device is to make it possible for you to get away as soon as possible.
These stun devices look just like a regular cell phone. They are about 4 inches tall and slender. They come in various colors and include a holster. There are two models a battery model that usually includes the batteries or the rechargeable model which includes an internal charging system. One brand even offers a siren alarm function. Most of the brands available also have a built in flashlight to light your way to the car.
When used the way it is intended, a cell phone stun gun can provide you with another defense tool to help you feel safe, while helping you get started on overcoming your fears.
Keep in mind that stun guns are prohibited in nine states, and some cities restrict them as well. Always check city laws regarding stun guns before purchasing or carrying one.

In this day and age it is hard to watch the news without hearing reports of home invasions, car-jacking, violent robberies and a host of other crimes. The question is what can we do to protect our loved ones and our valuables? Obviously protecting our loved ones is the most important. Many times robbers and burglars are looking for homes that are unoccupied. True they want to take things of value but they do not necessarily want the added charges or complications of people in the home that may become hostages or worse!
That being said the typical home invasion suspect is looking for a quick expensive fix so that they can get in and out in a hurry. Jewelry boxes, strong boxes, money on the dresser, jewelry left laying about, credit cards, silver, electronics and other high priced items that have a great resale value are the main targets.
As a girl of course, I want my living space to be beautiful and practical. I should also admit that I do not now nor have I ever had a green thumb. So for me, combining security and creating an attractive setting is just what the florist ordered. Flower pot safes are an excellent way to protect small valuables like jewelry, credit cards, safe deposit keys, extra house or car keys and anything else that is of value to you and pint-sized. The nice thing about flowerpot safes is they are the last place a home invader is going to look! Rarely if ever has an instance been reported of a home invader breaking in and watering or re-potting the plants! So the joke is on the home invader because your valuables could be in any number of the flower pot safes strategically decorating your home.
The water tray is specially designed to keep out dirt and moisture. The easy to use water tray simply unscrews to reveal the secret compartment. Now you can leave your house beautiful and your items secured.
Until next time, Be safe not sorry !!

Stun guns have been the subject of many news stories lately due to the number of personal attacks happening everywhere. It used to be that people thought of the big city as the place where crime takes place, however, we are seeing more and more that the suburbs and even small towns are not exempt from crimes.
One way that people are protecting themselves is with stun guns. The good news is that they are non-lethal so they won't kill your intruder or attacker, however they will disorient and paralyze the attacker long enough for you to get away and get help.
Traditionally, before the use of stun guns became so widespread, prices were often prohibitive. However, there are numerous cheap stun guns on the market today. When we say "cheap", we do not mean that they are necessarily poorly made. There are some companies that sell inferior products, but there are also companies that sell cheap stun guns that have warranties and work well.
Because stun guns work on the neuromuscular system, you should get information on how they work as well as information on how to use them and what you should do.
It is important to find a company that will stand by its products and will also provide as much information as is possible.
If you think about when DVD players came out instead of VCR's you probably remember that DVD players were extremely expensive. Once DVD's became an every day household electronic appliance, their prices came down dramatically and now they are downright cheap to buy. It is the same with cheap stun guns. The market has become saturated enough that prices have been becoming much more affordable.
Do not become a statistic. Be proactive. Keep yourself safe.

Personal attacks are on the minds of most people these days, whether they live in the big city or the quieter suburbs and small towns. When we turn on the news, we are hearing more and more about individuals being attacked, robbed, and worse. People want to protect themselves, but they do not necessarily want to resort to having to use a gun. What, then, are the alternatives to using a gun for protection?
According to an article in the Hartford Courant on April 4th, there are numerous ways to protect yourself without using lethal force. They include pepper spray, stun guns and tasers.
Focusing on the stun guns for a moment, there are numerous types on the market and many are quite affordable stun guns. Whether you get an economical and affordable stun gun or a more expensive one, they all work quite similarly.
A stun gun delivers a shock, which will incapacitate a potential attacker by rendering their neuromuscular system defenseless and confused long enough for you to escape the situation. When the stun gun discharges its voltage into the individual, that individual is virtually paralyzed temporarily; however, this is a non-lethal weapon.
It is important that you find not only an affordable stun gun, but also one that will be reliable, easy to use.

You are out trying to find a business address for an appointment with a new client. You find the street and start looking for the correct building. It is almost noon on a bright sunny day. You can't find a parking space very close to the building, but you are willing to walk the half block to get to the appointment with your client.
This happened to one of our clients. What she didn't realize is that she was being watched the entire time by someone who realized that that she didn't know the area and she was in a vulnerable situation. The person watching also realized that since she was in a Mercedes and dressed to the nines, she probably had some cash or credit cards with her.
She walked to the front door of the office building, only to find it locked. She then started knocking - loudly - but there was no answer. She did not comfortable with the area, so she started walking quickly to another door in the building. Before she got that far a young man "brushed" by her, knocked her down to the ground and grabbed her purse and briefcase, leaving her in shock and pain. She started to scream and finally help - from inside the building she was trying to get into - arrives.

This is a true story. It happened to one of our clients. She now carries Mace Pepper Spray - Leather Plus Model. She has said that she never wanted to deal with pepper spray or other self defense products before, but after this incident, she keeps it with her at all times.
She feels that if she could have defended herself with Mace Pepper Spray, she would not have been injured, the perpetrator would have been caught, and she would have ended up safe. In addition, by the time the police arrived less than one hour later, the perpetrator had already run up over $5,000 in credit card bills.
Don't become a victim or a statistic. Protect yourself with Mace products, especially Mace Pepper Spray - Leather Plus Model. It is convenient - fits in hand, purse or pocket, and will spray up to 10 feet to disorient your attacker long enough for you to end up safe.
